As part of its campaign to contribute to alleviating the burden of war on citizens in all Palestinian areas through relief interventions, the National Bank (TNB) launched a campaign to provide 60 tons of food to needy families in the West Bank governorates. TNB launched its campaign in the Jenin Governorate in partnership with the Governorate, which in turn will distribute food parcels to families most in need.
The governorate received the parcels in the presence of Jenin Governor, Mr. Kamal Abu Al-Rub, and a number of the governorate’s staff, in addition to the Northern District Manager of TNB, Zahir Barahma, Jenin Main Branch Manager, Muhammad Ajjawi, and a team of the Bank's employees. The bank staff went out with the governorate’s staff to deliver parcels to eligible families.
The Public Relations Manager at TNB, Reem Anani, confirmed that this intervention is part of a series of relief interventions initiated by the bank to alleviate the impact of the war on Palestinian families. She further noted that the bank began its interventions in Gaza at the end of last week by providing thousands of hot Ramadan meals daily and is now completing them in West Bank governorates. Anani then added that the bank will have further interventions in Gaza that will be announced soon.
The campaign will cover various governorates in the West Bank, with the number of parcels focusing on the most affected Palestinian governorates, with Jenin governorates respectively following Tulkarm Governorate, Nablus Governorate, Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, Bethlehem Governorate, and Hebron Governorate.
