The Ministry of Education and the National Bank (TNB) signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at managing the accounts of the Social Solidarity Fund for the Ministry's employees.
Under the agreement, TNB will provide a set of benefits to the Fund on deposits, in addition to a range of financial and banking services that include electronic services designed specifically for the Ministry of Education with preferential benefits.
The agreement also included an annex on banking services provided to the Fund's subscribers, including deposits, credit facilities, savings accounts, and electronic services to serve the Fund's subscribers and the academic and administrative staff of the Ministry.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry’s Undersecretary Dr. Nafih Assaf, and National Bank CEO Salameh Khalil, in the presence of representatives from both parties.
In this context, Assaf praised the partnership with TNB and the bank’s focus on social responsibility in the field of education, further enhancing the relationship with the Ministry and encouraging a more engaging approach.
For his part, Khalil expressed his pride to see the Ministry, represented by the Fund, joining TNB’s customer base. He pointed to the importance of providing the education cadre, namely teachers, with customized banking products and benefits that meet their needs, given their role in building and developing generations that can continue the journey of building an independent Palestinian state.
