On Monday, June 05, 2023, The National Bank (TNB) and the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions renewed their strategic partnership at the Federation’s premises in Nablus. The partnership offers a range of banking services and facilities to the Federation and its affiliated members.

Salameh Khalil, TNB’s CEO and Shaher Saad, the Federation’s Secretary General, concluded the Agreement pursuant to which the Bank will provide the Federation with a range of banking services, facilities, deposit options, and transfers, among others. TNB will also offer financial consultancy services to the Federation, namely through its specialized teams keen on extending advice with regards to the Federation’s financial decisions.  

Khalil expressed his delight in renewing the Agreement with the Federation. He further stated that the relationship between the two parties is a strategic one that, first and foremost, aims at achieving the interests of Palestinian workers who form a large segment of the community. 

On his part, Saad praised the outcomes of last year’s partnership with TNB and the unique banking services it offered to the Federation. He noted that this partnership is in favor of the Palestinian workers, as it would contribute to lessening their burdens and obligations, namely amidst difficult economic conditions.
