The National Bank (TNB) launched today a specialized banking campaign for Palestinian workers within the Green Line. This campaign grants workers exceptional privileges on their accounts, loans, and cards, without having to transfer their salaries to TNB.
The campaign includes a range of services and credit facilities at competitive interest rates. Workers can benefit from these offers in a swift and flexible manner, as they deem fit, without having to transfer their salaries to the National Bank. Offered facilities are varied and include personal loans of up to 200,000 Shekel, loans for home improvement of up to 270,000 Shekel, and car loans of up to 250,000 Shekel. TNB also offers credit cards without a fee for the first year along with real estate loans for purchasing ready-to-move properties and lands. The Bank also offers the possibility of buying debts, free of commissions, in terms of all types of loans.
The campaign features privileges for accounts, such as exemption from the current account maintenance fees for two years, free cheque books, and exemption from the commission fees for issuing up to three direct debit cards for the same account. Furthermore, customers obtain an instant gift upon opening any saving account of a value of USD 200 or an equivalent amount in other currencies.
Commenting on the campaign, Ayman Dahdaha, Chief retail banking officer at TNB, said that this program is in line with the Bank’s mission aimed at promoting financial inclusion for all segments and sectors of the community. This is achieved through providing tailor-made banking programs to meet the actual financial need of the benefiting segment while aligning our banking requirements with the circumstances of each category.
It is worth noting that, in addition to the campaign privileges, each worker who obtained a loan during the campaign will enter a draw to win one of two monthly prizes, each amounting to 4,000 Shekel. The campaign will continue until May 31, 2023.
