The National Bank (TNB) represented by its Vice Chairman, Omar Masri, participated in the Virtual Annual Meetings 2020 organized by the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund. The series of meetings extended for 11 days and covered a range of topics, including the opportunities to recover from the coronavirus pandemic, the importance of digital technology to face the pandemic, fighting poverty, investing in human capital, debt and sustainability.

The meetings were attended by many well-known international experts and leaders as well as representatives from international and Arab central banks. Palestine’s participation was limited to the Governor of the Palestine Monetary Authority, Mr. Azzam Shawwa, and TNB.
